To make your existing domain name work with your PhotoBiz site, you need to have your domain name servers pointed to our Data Center. Below are instructions on how to change your name servers at Register.com.
Note: Changing your name servers does not transfer your domain registration. You will need to keep your domain current with your current registrar.
IMPORTANT EMAIL NOTE:
If you have domain-based email (i.e. firstname.lastname@example.org), please send your email provider's MX records to our Support Team BEFORE you change your name servers (the next step). If you change your name servers before we have your email's MX records set up on our servers, your email will go down. Your email will be restored within 2-24 hours after your MX records have been added to our servers.
Mouse over the the Your Account button, and click on Account Log-in
At the Login prompt, make sure "My Account Manager" is selected, and enter your assigned User Name and Password from Register.com. If you do not remember your username/password, there is password retrieval link on this page (Look for the "Forget Your User Name or Password?" link).
Click on the domain name you wish to modify.
Scroll down the screen until you see the current DNS servers, followed by blank text boxes where you can enter your new server information.
Enter our DNS information into the first two boxes as follows (leave the rest blank):
Review your entries to make sure you have them both entered, and when you are ready click Continue.
You will be taken to a page where you can make a final review of your changes. When you are ready click Continue again.
If you receive a confirmation request in email, you will need to click on the URL to confirm the change.
If you need assistance with this or any aspect of your PhotoBiz account, you can reach our Support team at 1-866-463-7620 Monday-Friday from 9am to 8pm USA Eastern Time.
