An ALT tag is short descriptive text that can be used when inserting images into code. This text is used to boost SEO on your Blog posts, since Blog posts typically have lots of images. You can add alt text to images by inserting your blog images in a slightly different way. Follow the steps below to learn how to insert images with alt tags.

STEP 1: OBTAIN IMAGE LINK AND INSERT IN BLOG EDITOR

The first thing you'll need to do is get a direct link to the image you'd like to insert. You can use your PhotoBiz account FILES section to retrieve a link by following the steps here.

When you have your image link ready, return to your Blog's POST EDITOR and in the text editor, click on the INSERT/EDIT IMAGE button at the top of the box.

STEP 2: ENTER IMAGE URL AND ALT TEXT

After you click on INSERT/EDIT IMAGE, a lightbox window will appear. Paste the image link in the IMAGE URL field, then enter your desired ALT text in the field labeled ALT TEXT.

When your URL and text have been added, click on OK.

STEP 3: CONTINUE ADDING IMAGES/TEXT

After you click on OK, you will see the image you inserted appear. From here, continue adding images/text as needed, and then click on SAVE CHANGES below the text editor box.
